SERVPRO® of Alachua County West is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our locally owned Alachua County franchise.  The perfect candidate is someone who has great communication skills, knows basic computer applications, and who is punctual with good work ethic.  Prior office experience is a plus, but not requirement, but you must possess the ability to provide superior service in a highly competitive service industry.  As a valued SERVPRO® employee, you will receive a competitive pay rate, and the opportunity to learn new skills and grow professionally.  This is currently a part-time position, of 20 hours a week, but the schedule may be flexible depending on your schedule.

Position Requirements:
• The ability to answer phones in a polite manner and be able to communicate clearly and effectively to answer questions or to route the call to the appropriate person.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use many platforms such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Superb customer service skills dealing with all types of customers.
• The ability to place cold calls for collections purposes.
• The ability to successfully pass a background check subject to applicable law, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license in the state of Florida.
Expectations and Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones as required during influx of calls or backing up office manager for breaks.
  • Making collections calls daily.
  • Basic office duties such as paper filing and electronic filing.
  • Completing required training on a corporate level as mandated.
  • Answering and sending emails as required.
  • Showing up on time and as scheduled.
