We added Perfect Audience (PA) to the SharpSpring team in 2019 and the platform adds some powerful lead functionality capabilities that enhance our overall offerings. The features of PA complement SharpSpring’s core feature set which are designed to track, nurture, and convert leads into sales. With that being said, we are looking for a tech-savvy, talented Ad Operations Specialist to join our Perfect Audience team! As an Ad Operations Specialist, you play an instrumental part in providing personalized and superb support for our advertisers. You will interface with advertisers while leading a small team of specialists. You will be responsible for managing the trafficking, delivery, optimizations, and reporting of digital ad campaigns for multiple advertisers. You will, on a regular basis ensure that insertion orders and instructions are clearly understood, creatives are tested and approved, and that all campaign deliverables are being met.

You will be handling escalations, and assessing overall advertiser campaign performance in order to make recommendations for improvements. As the expert in our platform, you will also provide direction to our product team informed by advertiser feedback and behavior, help drive attrition reducing initiatives, and work towards achieving overall company goals.

The Responsibilities:

  • Oversee in-flight customer advertising campaigns and look for ways to improve their performance
  • Reach out and work with customers and help them optimize their ad campaign(s)
  • Own delivery of a first-class support experience by your team while ensuring consistently professional and courteous customer support services are delivered 
  • Serve as the technical knowledge center for the platform; work with other support teams, train new hires, vet application bugs, and work directly with Product Managers
  • Analyze team efficiency, current support needs, gaps, and processes that impact the overall advertiser experience; report on findings and present solutions to leadership
  • Act as a product advocate for advertisers by providing advertiser perspective/advertiser feedback to the Product and Development teams
  • Effectively communicate status of campaigns, technical issues, launch delays, delivery issues, etc. to client contacts
  • Perform quality assurance checks and debug issues with campaigns to ensure that line items and creative have been set up correctly and are delivering across all platforms and devices
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance
  • Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining trafficking and work-flow procedures for client accounts

The Person:

  • You can demonstrate a strong understanding of digital advertising and ad campaigns.
  • You enjoy bringing creative solutions to the table and seeing them through to resolution.
  • You are very comfortable using technology and take an active approach to learn new systems and processes. 
  • You manage to stay highly organized while balancing priorities in a remote environment.
  • You think critically when making decisions and take action after weighing options. 
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are noticeably stronger than normal. 
  • You love working on a team and contribute to the health and success of groups that you’re working with.

Major Plus if:

  • You run your own Facebook Ads, Google Paid Search, Google Ad Manager, Display, Video, and Retargeting campaigns
  • At least 2 years of ad operations and client service experience, especially with a DSP
  • You have experience trafficking ads for desktop, mobile, and video platforms
  • Must be technically adept within the digital ad space and be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • You have worked at an ad agency or digital marketing agency of 15+ people
  • You have a strong statistical/math background
  • You are fluent in a language other than English
