RTI Surgical is global, industry-leading private label OEM with expertise in allograft, xenograft and synthetic-based implants. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Planning & Analysis Manager should have an exceptional level of expertise in the area of planning, production and inventory and related processes and be capable of evaluating data and recommending / implementing solutions, supporting and developing value stream systems and conducting production and financial analyses.  They may manage / carry out responsibilities in some or all of the areas outlined below.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the production and capacity planning analysis, develops operations metrics, and provides support for continuous improvement.   
  • Coordinates global production and tissue utilization initiatives.
  • Drives Operational Delivery and Financial performance to budget and forecast.
  • Performs cost estimates and analyses for new products and Operations improvement projects and supports standard cost updates and other Finance activities.  
  • Reviews financial analyses conducted by the team for accuracy, including capital project payback and ROI.
  • Supervises cost, cycle time and yield analyses, and coordinates continuous improvement activities to increase Operational efficiencies and contribution margins.
  • Plans and prioritizes the team in their creation of queries, reports, analysis, and management of inventory flow to ensure high service levels while optimizing working capital and associated production expenses.
  • Coordinates production capacity, output, expense, and inventory forecasting for the monthly SIOP process.
  • Works closely with S&OP to identify, resolve, and/or elevate potential shortfalls in advance of them occurring. 
  • Supports Operations quality systems development including statistical modeling and design of experiments.
  • Responsible for building effective relationships and the highest level of customer service with all RTI departments at all levels.
  • Oversees a team of planning analysts and conducts performance reviews, compensation decision, hiring, onboarding, termination, and other employment processes with the support of leadership and human resources.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years relevant work experience; Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analysis, Supply Chain, or other applicable business field preferred
  • 2+ years demonstrated leadership experience
  • Database querying, analysis and report/KPI development including experience with Microsoft SQL and Power BI or related.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel required

 

 

Physical Requirements:

Light work:  Physically handle objects up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
