SIMEDHealth is looking for a full time Network Administrator for our North Central Florida Locations. The Network Administrator participates in multilevel projects along with support to all SIMEDHealth programs under guidance of the Director of Information Systems for installation, upgrade, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of corporation’s systems, infrastructure and network.
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:00am 5:00pm however, some events may require you to work before/after hours or on the weekend. Your schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
Successful candidates should possess minimally the following:
Graduation from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field REQUIRED (3-5 years applicable experience can substitute for degree)
Network certification (CCNA or CCNP) PREFERRED
Demonstrate the ability to quickly and efficiently meet deadlines REQUIRED
Valid Florida driver’s license REQUIRED
Reliable transportation REQUIRED
This position may require the physical ability push, pull, lift and carry computer equipment without assistance up to 25lbs and with assistance up to 50lbs.
This position may require the physical ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb, or similar.
A minimum of 1 years of successful experience with the design, specification, installation and support of local and wide area computer networks in a mid-size to an enterprise environment (REQUIRED)
Familiarity with advanced networking concepts (REQUIRED)
Understands principals of network security (REQUIRED)
Knowledge of data and VoIP communications principles (REQUIRED) Mitel System PREFERRED
PREFERRED minimum 1-2 years of experience:
Supporting VMware’s product line using virtual network and switches
Microsoft Server services (Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Multi-layer network management and vLan
Programming routers, switches, Fiber optic runs, termination and VOIP equipment
Experience with Office365/ Azure AD and Microsoft Hyper-V
Network Administrator Duties:
Designs, installs, upgrades, configures, and repairs local and wide area network hardware and infrastructure.
Installs and tests computers and related network hardware in a networked environment.
Installs and tests approved software and software upgrades in a networked environment.
Maintains network maps of all sites.
Supports Network Operation Center staff with simple network troubleshooting techniques.
Supports and assists other Tier 2 administrators when needed and/or demand requires.
Participates in on-call rotation.
This position may be required to travel to multiple SIMEDHealth locations as the needs of the organization require.
