Digital Marketing Specialist

IT - Gainesville, FL - Full Time

SIMEDHealth is looking for a Full Time Digital Marketing Specialist for our Gainesville, FL office.

The SIMEDHealth Digital Marketing Specialist will contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of SIMEDHealth’s brand and digital presence.  Utilizing SIMEDHealth’s e-channels (web, social media, email, etc) develop innovative strategies and implement methods for ongoing optimization and delivery of impactful results.  Identify trends and new technologies that will improve the online and general experiences of SIMEDHealth’s end users (patients, referral sources, employees, providers, etc).  Formulate, execute and demonstrate SEM/SEO using data analytics with measurable and reportable results.  Contribute to content development through research and interviews.

Qualified candidates will meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Microsoft office - Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Social Media knowledge, minimum of Facebook / Twitter / YouTube / Linkedin
  • Basic SEO concepts and strategies
  • Basic HTML concepts and knowledge and web content management
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Photography on DSLR camera
  • Adobe applications - Illustrator / Photoshop
  • Video production and editing 

Additionally, qualified candidates will have the following minimum experience:

  • Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • One Year of relevant work experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of website analytic tools.
  • Demonstrate experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.

Some of the duties and responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist are:

  • Under supervision of IT Director, this position will lead the web team on various projects aimed at promoting the company and increasing web traffic
  • Use communication and interpersonal skills to work with the IT Department, Administration team, managers and providers
  • Focus on creating web content and promoting published content via social media campaigns.
  • Organizes and plan content calendars (monthly and weekly)
  • Assist in creation and execution of new web layouts designs, contents, graphics and video promotions
  • Measure and report performance on all digital marketing campaigns
  • Assist with establishing digital marketing goals
  • Assist with developing and implementing new creative marketing growth strategies
  • Collaborate with IT Department, Administrative team, managers and providers to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Contribute (at minimum) weekly health care related articles/blog postings featuring SIMEDHealth Physicians, Divisions, Departments and/or Services
  • Participate in SIMEDHealth marketing events
  • Assist in display marketing development
  • Manage website content and users
