Ology Bio has 20 years of experience developing and manufacturing drugs and biologics for the US Government, and over $500M in government contracts awarded over that time.

The company expanded to Commercial Manufacturing upon the move into the new facility in early 2017. Our infrastructure provides unique services to our clients, including full regulatory support from preclinical through licensure, clinical trial operational support and bioanalytical testing, as well as cGMP manufacturing up to Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3).

Summary:
The staff account will report to controller and be responsible for:

Essential Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare general ledger journal entries by maintaining accounting records and files.
  • Reconciliation reports per Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP). Document financial transactions.
  • Reconciles financial information by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Review customer vouchers and coding for Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance.
  • Prepares vendor disbursements by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Prepare reimbursement vouchers/ invoices for submission to customer.
  • Prepare customer vouchers for submission in accordance with FAR.
  • Prepares special financial reports to track department and contract related performance.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Assist in the preparation of semimonthly payroll activities.
  • Assist in the administration of timekeeping activities.
  • Maintain project costs and task codes for proper project coding.
  • Maintain electronic timekeeping systems in accordance with FAR.
  • Support the Project Management Office with financial information as requested

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • B.S. in Accounting/Master’s preferred
  • Experience with an ERP system (preferably QAD), MS Outlook, Excel, Project, and Word
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organized
