Job Description
· Primary responsibility for meeting order fulfillment, labelling production goals, and oversight of related functions including: Shipping, Commercial Customer Service, Direct Customer Service (product lines as specified by leadership), Finished Goods inventory, and marketing communications.  Regular participation in daily production meetings and understanding of relevant metrics and drivers. Performs high-level reviews and leads strategic planning for major process area performance indicators in functional areas.  
· Direct liaison with external distributors and customers; responsible for working with customers to drive overall customer satisfaction and fulfill/communicate customer needs throughout the RTI Surgical organization.  
· Maintains active involvement in employee selection, training and development. Performs related hiring, performance reviews, corrective actions, etc. for direct-line employees. Process area champion for Q12, employee safety and overall employee morale.  
· Understanding of materials, facility, process, procedures and equipment under management. Strong involvement and presence in work areas to monitor efficiency and compliance; performs periodic audits. Actively involved and leader of specific process / operational improvement programs including: QRB, CRB, complaint reviews, 5-Pillars, etc. Leads problem solving activities in process area and drives effective corrective actions.  
· Involved member of the Logistics Leadership Team, including attendance at meetings and ownership of initiatives. Develops positive relationships and outcomes both along the value stream. Leads assigned initiatives.  
· Primary supervision for Direct customer service group and Commercial Customer Service. Liaison with internal Market and Sales managers.  
· Responsible for providing guidance for Product Development as relates to interaction with fulfilling customer demand.  
· Leads materials management projects focused on direct/indirect material flow, traceability, labelling production planning and scheduling, inventory planning, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, freight management, and resource utilization.  
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)   
· 5 years of Customer Service practices, Inventory Management, and Labelling Production Planning or equivalent professional experience required.  
· BA/BS Degree in relevant discipline preferred, experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.  
· Professional certification (CSCP, CPSM, CPM, CPIM, or other purchasing, supply chain related certifications) are desirable.  
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: (list required and preferred separately)  
· Knowledgeable in Lean/Progressive Manufacturing techniques, production and inventory control financial principles, Freight management, Quality principles and Safety practices  
· Leadership, management and supervision including working knowledge of and behaviors conforming to all appropriate state and federal labor laws and in a style consistent with a strength-based leadership model focused on employee engagement.  
· Willingness to handle human and animal tissue  
· Knowledge of labeling processes, warehousing and inventory management processes are required.  
· Effective oral & written communications skills   
· Provide appropriate professional company and Logistics representation during internal/external audits, external customer visits, and internal customer communications.  
· Ability to direct work and make leadership decisions with limited supervision and ability to multi=task in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills.  
· Ability to effectively utilize common computer software including: SAP, TTrack, MS Office, database, Excel, and MS Project     
This position may require the use of personal protective equipment during various tasks/activities including but not limited to, gloves, masks and safety glasses.
