  • About

The University of Florida IFAS SMART Couples program is a five-year (2015-2020) federal grant project under the direction of Dr. Victor Harris, Associate Professor in the Department of Family, Youth, and Community Sciences.

The project’s goal is to provide FREE relationship education to Florida residents in order to enhance and strengthen relationships, marriages, and families across all ethnicities, relationship structures, and income levels.

The focus areas include: couple enhance education, premarital education, and youth relationship education.

We currently teach in-person relationship skills workshops in 5 Florida counties: Alachua, Duval, Manatee, Palm Beach, and Santa Rosa.

You can learn more about our program and workshops on our Classes page at www.smartcouples.org.
