For Black Films Matter this month we decided to bring you a hilarious cult classic, and Ice Cube’s first attempt at a comedic role, Friday. Directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Ice Cube and DJ Pooh, the story follows Craig (Ice Cube) and Smokey (Chris Tucker) trying to get $200 that they owe a neighborhood drug dealer before 10 p.m. and before they face the consequences.  (91 minutes)
