Event Description:
Gainesville, FL – March 24, 2014 – Butler Plaza will host an event on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 named “Shoppes Walk” to celebrate their new building, the Shoppes at Butler, along with its retailers: Alumni Hall, Pink Narcissus, Yogurtology and Zoës Kitchen. The event will take place at 3730 SW Archer Road from 6-8pm and is open to the public. Attendees can look forward to special promotions from all four stores, as well as a drawing for $500 in gift certificates to anywhere in Butler Plaza. 20% of all sales during the event will be donated to United Way of North Central Florida.
“We are truly honored to have been chosen to receive 20% of the sales made during the first Shoppes Walk event at four great stores in Butler Plaza,” said Debbie Mason, President & CEO of United Way of North Central Florida. “The money raised will benefit the education, income and health of our local community.”
Alumni Hall, an officially-licensed University of Florida apparel and merchandise store, will be offering their own register to win in-store give away for the event, a free Gator head 16oz Tervis with any $50 purchase and free Alumni Hall sunglasses to the first 150 people. Pink Narcissus, a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store, will also be offering in-store giveaways as well as live music and refreshments.
Located in the heart of Butler Plaza, the Shoppes at Butler building is the first rendition of what Deborah Butler and the development team have planned as the new look for Butler Plaza. Previously, the site of the Floor Trader building, Butler Enterprises acquired the property with the vision to redevelop it into an upscale retail space. The new 10,645 sq. ft. building is now home to four new-to-the-market stores and a recipient of a 2014 Beautification Award for Excellence in Design.
“We are looking forward to a great night for our stores and our customers as well as a celebration for this new, beautiful building”, said Butler.
