The Florida Museum is hosting a screening of “Ever After: A Cinderella Story” on Friday, July 5, at 7 p.m. An opening reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 7 p.m. just prior to the movie with scientists, artists and special effects experts exploring the balance between science and art. The museum's permanent exhibits, except the “Butterfly Rainforest” and “Discovery Zone,” will be open to the public for extended hours until 10 p.m. Released in 1998, the movie is rated PG-13, and parental discretion is advised.
