The Florida Museum of Natural History is celebrating renowned naturalist Alexander von Humboldt’s 250th birthday Oct. 6, 7-9 p.m., at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. This free event features a special performance by the Gainesville Master Chorale and a talk by best-selling author Andrea Wulf followed by Q&A and book signing.
