What is a First Year Friend?

An individual, family, organization or business interested in creating a team that will raise money to donate to GiGi’s Playhouse Gainesville to help support GiGi’s Playhouse Gainesville in our first year.

First Year Friends Kick-Off Event:
Bowl-A-Thon • Sunday, July 26, 12-5 pm
Splitz Lanes, 1301 NW 76th Blvd, Gainesville

After you register your team for $50, invite your team to our fundraising kick-off Bowl-A-Thon on Sunday, July 26 to kick-off your team’s donations, have fun, and bowl!

There is a maximum of 32 team slots available for the Bowl-a-Thon!

Each (4-5 person) team will get free shoe rentals, 3 games of bowling, and a pizza.

Awards will be given to the teams who have:

1. The Most Bowl-A-Thon Money Raised
2. The Most Spirit
3. The Highest Bowling Score

Who will take home the top prizes?

The First Year Friends campaign ends September 1. Join us for GiGi’s Playhouse Gainesville Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for First Year Friends recognition and awards.

If you choose not to bowl there are 4 OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE (you can pick more than one):

1 – BUILD A FIRST YEAR FRIEND: This is for non-bowlers. Build a First Year Friends donation page! Top Fundraising Team will win a beautiful, larger-than-life canvas portrait on our Family Foyer Welcome Wall for one year!

2 – SUPPORT A FIRST YEAR FRIEND: Find a team on our list and support them with a donation!!

3 – CORPORATE & COMMUNITY CHALLENGE: This is for non-bowlers. Support GiGi’s Playhouse Gainesville and register your corporate or community group to raise funds to open our playhouse. The corporate team that raises the most will win a team Trophy to be presented at our Grand Opening!

If your organization or family raises more than $1000 your company or family name will be placed on our distinguished “Miracle Wall” in the playhouse. Challenge other businesses, co-workers & employees! Let’s see who has the best team!

There are 3 Levels for the “Miracle Wall”:

• Gold Giver: $5,000 and above
• Silver Supporter: $2,500 to $4,999
• Bronze Believer: $1000 to $2,499

4 – MAKE A GENERAL DONATION

Your organization can also become a Lane Sponsor for $100.
