Rock and roll up your sleeves at LifeSouth’s Bloodstock 2019 blood drive
LifeSouth invites the community to celebrate peace, love and saving lives at their Bloodstock 2019 blood drive honoring the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Donors can stop by one of LifeSouth’s Gainesville donor centers from Thursday, August 15 through Sunday, August 18 and make a difference in our community by giving blood. Don’t miss our groovy flea market at our 13th Street location on August 17 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. All donors will receive a limited-edition Bloodstock t-shirt.
1969’s Woodstock music festival was a celebration of kindness, unity and community. Honor the spirit of Woodstock by taking time to share life with someone in Gainesville who truly needs it. Help fight blood shortages this summer, a time when blood donations are at their lowest. Visit a LifeSouth donor center located at 4039 Newberry Road or 1221 NW 13th St. Give local, save local. Please give blood.
Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required. For more information on donating blood, call toll-free 888-795-2707 or visit lifesouth.org.
