Thaddeus currently supports the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) North Florida District Office (NFDO) as an Economic Development Specialist (EDS). This role came after spending eight years as a Business Opportunity Specialist (BOS) for the SBA's Flagship Program-the 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program. Thaddeus collaborates, and interacts, with federal economic development agencies; resource partners; partner agencies; local chambers of commerce; local & regional government entities; local economic development organizations; business associations; small businesses, educational institutions and civic/community organizations on a number of initiatives.
Mr. Hammond's SBA travels have taken him from the Washington Metropolitan Area District Office (WMADO), to the North Florida District Office (NFDO), Louisiana District Office (LDO), and back to the NFDO. Prior to his work with the SBA, Mr. Hammond spent 16 years as a successful Sr. Business Development Manager for a defense contractor whose clients included the Department of Defense, Federal and State Government agencies and Large Prime Contractors.
