Join us for the Second annual Tuxedo T-shirt Gala benefiting United Way of North Central Florida on Thursday, May 9th from 6-10pm at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe. The United for Impact: Tuxedo T-shirt Gala, presented by Gas South, promises to be an evening of casual elegance, fun, and most importantly, a profound opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community.
 

This year’s theme is “Prom Night” fit with a DJ, themed photo booths, and the perfect playlist set by YOU! Mix and mingle while you enjoy passed appetizers, themed cocktails, a silent auction, 360 photo booth, and more. Then enjoy a delicious dinner while we are reminded of the importance of supporting those who are striving to overcome financial barriers and build better lives for themselves and their families. After dinner and our ALICE update, stick around for plenty of dancing, and a delicious dessert.

Don your favorite tuxedo t-shirt and dress it up or down for a night of music, food, and fun with a silent auction that is sure to impress. This event is open to the public. Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance.
 

United Way of North Central Florida's mission is to positively impact the health, education, and financial stability of vulnerable populations and ALICE households in our community. ALICE is an acronym that stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed – these households are earning above the Federal Poverty Level, yet struggling to afford basic expenses. We connect and mobilize the resources, people, and passion in strategic ways to achieve our community goals to transform our region and to change and improve the story for thousands of people.
