Job Description
Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Grant Program Coordinator to be responsible for the departments grant research, preparation, evaluation, coordination and monitoring, along with processing invoices, vendor applications, creating requisitions and monitoring accounts payables in their Gainesville, FL office. Let's get to work.

Temporary with the possibility of a permanent position
Gainesville, FL
Schedule: FT, M-F
Salary: $19.13/hr

Responsibilities:
- Prepare or assist with grant applications
- Process grant awards
- Track compliance
- Monitor expenditures
- Assist with reports
- Help develop awareness of grant programs
- Develop policies and procedures as necessary
- Ensure timely receipt of funds
- Account for all funds raised and spent
- Performs fiscal calculations
- Prepares bank deposits
- Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Strong critical thinking and creative thinking skills highly preferred

Education:
Associate

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in public administration, accounting or finance preferred
- At least 2 years of grant monitoring and coordination experience
- Thorough knowledge of principals, practices and techniques of grant administration and writing
- Ability to analyze complex financial information and prepare detailed financial analyses and reports
- Excellent research skills
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of rules and regulations of keeping accounting records
