Butler Enterprises Hosting Holiday Fashion Show to Raise Funding for Local Charity Focused on Mental Health Counseling in Gainesville High Schools
Gainesville, FL – October 7th, 2021 – Butler Enterprises is excited to host the first annual holiday fashion show, Deck The Runway, on Friday, November 19th at 6PM. It will be an evening of fun, fashion, and philanthropy celebrating the latest styles from local retailers.
For the inaugural show, Butler Enterprises partnered with PALS THRIVE. PALS THRIVE is provides free counseling and mental health services to teens within a school environment focusing on bullying, suicide, and violence prevention. This program offers an altruistic atmosphere in schools where mental illness is understood, diversity is supported, and all teens feel included and valued. PALS THRIVE is in all public high schools in Gainesville, Florida. PALS THRIVE was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and won the prestigious Sapphire Award from Blue Foundation. PALS THRIVE relies on donations for support and expansion to other schools in our area. All proceeds raised from sponsorships and ticket sales will go to PALS THRIVE and expand its impact and help make our local community a better place.
Deck The Runway will be the event of the holiday season. Guests will be greeted with live Christmas music performed by the local jazz band, Giselle and Erik, as they mingle in the enchanting space transformed into a winter wonderland by Keith Watson Events. Dine on delicious bites and festive cocktails from your favorite Butler restaurants such as 4Rivers, Bonefish, Whole Foods, Total Wine, and more. Make sure to check out the champagne wall for the perfect place to snap an Instagram-worthy photo.
Models will slay the runway in festive styles from the most popular local boutiques and retailers. The curated collections will include pieces from Anthropologie, Narcissus, Alumni Hall, REI, CycleBar, Agapanthus, Pink Narcissus, and exquisite jewelry from The Village Jeweler. Sephora’s professional Beauty Advisors will use the latest beauty techniques and makeup products so that every model dazzles in the spotlights.
For VIP ticket holders, The Village Jeweler will host a private cocktail hour (6PM - 7PM) in their boutique for an exclusive sneak-peek at the Estate Jewelry collection from famed jeweler, John Angelo, of New York. There will also be an intimate musical performance and special offerings throughout the store.

From statement jewelry to home improvement packages, guests will have an exciting assortment of high quality items to bid on at the silent auction. All money raised during Deck The Runway will go directly to funding PALS THRIVE in our local Gainesville high schools.
