Rich was born and raised in Gainesville, FL and is a triple gator (B.A., J.D., and LL.M.). While pursuing his Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Rich was president of: Tax Moot Court, the Association for Tax Law, and VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). As a part of Tax Moot Court, Rich took part in multiple competitions including an international tax law competition in Leuven, Belgium, where he competed against more than ten different countries (a "Tax Olympics"), and also a Securities and Exchange alternative dispute resolution competition at St. John's Law School in NYC.

After he earned his J.D. in 2017, Rich passed the Florida Bar exam and thereafter immediately began furthering his passion for tax law by attending the Graduate Tax Program and the University of Florida Levin College of Law. After earning his Masters in Tax Law in 2018, he began focusing a large part of his practice on estate planning. That focus in estate planning grew to more areas of practice such as business succession planning, tax law, estate and trust administration, and estate and trust litigation.

During his free time, Rich enjoys coaching his son's sports teams, paddle boarding, spending time with his family, and watching anything involving Florida Gator sports. From volunteering with his son's sports teams to drafting estate planning documents, Rich is proud to serve this town and its citizens.
