Home & Garden Show Returns to North Central Florida

Our Town Family of Magazines and Builders Association of North Central Florida Partner to bring the Our Town Home & Garden Show to Gainesville

Gainesville, Fla. — For the first time in nearly 5 years, the Home & Garden Show returns to Gainesville, thanks to Our Town Magazine, in partnership with Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF). The 2024 Our Town Home & Garden Show will take place the weekend of April 27th & 28th at the brand-new Alachua County Sports and Events Center in Celebration Pointe.

Upholding a Spring tradition for over 20 years, the Our Town Home & Garden Show will bring the best local, regional, and national vendors for Home, Garden, Patio, Design, and Renovation products and services all together in one location. For one weekend, over 100 vendors will gather with wall-to-wall displays and exhibits featuring the best in our area’s remodelers, builders, and design professionals. The event will showcase the latest trends in design, and state-of-the-art product offerings, in addition to vendor raffles and giveaways. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with experts in kitchen and bath remodeling, roofing, flooring, home security, water conditioning, insulation, windows, landscaping, and more.

“We are honored to partner together with community stakeholders, Builders Association of North Central Florida, and Visit Gainesville to bring back this beloved event,” said Charlie Delatorre, Publisher of Our Town Magazine and Tower Publications. He continued, “With our area experiencing so much growth, development, and national recognition recently, it’s the perfect time to re-introduce this event to our market. Our new venue will further enhance the experience for our community, making it even bigger, better, and more convenient than ever before.”

To further enrich and enhance our local community, a portion of proceeds from the Our Town Home & Garden Show will go to support BANCF programs, such as the Apprenticeship Program. The BANCF Apprenticeship Program, registered by the Florida Department of Education, helps businesses recruit, train, and retain skilled workers across the trades. This program allows apprentices to earn wages while learning trade skills to better prepare the trades for future demand in the greater Gainesville region.

Focused on impact, this event aims to support local businesses, our future workforce, and residents, alike. Our Town Family of Magazine’s long-standing investment and relationships within the local community act as an ideal champion to lead efforts to bring this event back to the North Central Florida region, just as they celebrate 25 years of business in the community. Support from Visit Gainesville’s Nature and Culture Destination Enhancement Grant also helped to make this event possible. Visit Gainesville’s three grant programs were created to support and enhance Alachua County as a culturally interesting and vibrant destination.

The Our Town Home & Garden Show will be open to the public on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and on Sunday, April 28th from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Tickets are required for this event, and are $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased in advance, or day-of at the event, children under 10 are free. Sponsorship and Vendor opportunities are still available. For more information, visit www.GainesvilleHomeAndGarden.com, call 352-317-2543 or email info@TowerPublications.com.
