The Oaks Mall Selects BHGRE Commercial

Management of The Oaks Mall has selected BHGRE Commercial to assist in local leasing for The Oaks Mall in Gainesville
 
Gainesville, FL — BHGRE Commercial was chosen to assist in leasing commercial space in The Oaks Mall, featuring over 900,000 square feet in the heart of Gainesville. The Oaks Mall is Greater Gainesville’s premier shopping mall, anchoring the Newberry Road retail corridor. This Gainesville staple is located at 6419 W Newberry Road, and features over 100 retailers, restaurants, and ample parking.
 
BHGRE Commercial President, Brian Oen, Vice President, Gavin Johnson, and Vice President, Ken Mears were recently selected as the local commercial leasing agents by Brookfield Properties. “BHGRE Commercial is honored to serve The Oaks Mall in further enhancing the dynamic tenant mix.” said Brian Oen, BHGRE Commercial President. “We’re excited to help bring additional energy to the property and explore opportunities to redefine traditional retail with a focus on consumer interaction and experience, all aimed to further evolve our regional landscape.”
 
The Oaks Mall is the only regional shopping mall located in the trade area which includes University of Florida students (over 61,000 in Fall 2021) and faculty (over 5,000 in 2021), Santa Fe College students (over 17,000), the UF Health system, the largest medical system in North Central Florida, and HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, formerly known as North Florida Regional Medical Center. The Oaks Mall is situated less than half of a mile from I-75’s Newberry Road exit, one of Gainesville’s busiest intersections. The City of Gainesville was also recently named the #2 'Best Places To Live In Florida In 2023' by Forbes.
 
The Oaks Mall is anchored by Dillard’s, Belk, JCPenney, and UF Health Ophthalmology Medical Center (owned separately). Featured national retailers include H&M, Forever 21, Victoria’s Secret, Pandora, and more. Dining options include full-service dining such as BJ’s Brewhouse and Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as quick serve choices including Chick-Fil-A and Fresh Kitchen.
