Event Description:

102nd Annual Meeting

Join our business community to celebrate the Greater Gainesville Chamber's 102nd Annual Meeting.

Theme: The Visible Value of the Invisible Work

The Chamber’s Annual Meeting is our region’s premier business luncheon, where leaders, employers, and changemakers come together to celebrate progress and chart the course for the year ahead. The 2026 theme highlights what often goes unseen: the late nights, back-office excellence, quiet mentorship, and everyday problem-solving that make visible growth possible.

The Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce will use its 2026 Annual Meeting to do something different: step away from tradition and invite members into a working business session focused on strategy, accountability, and the future of regional economic development.

That strategic direction will be unveiled at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on February 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton, in a format designed to reflect the Chamber’s renewed focus on results, transparency, and member return on investment.

With the theme, the visible value of invisible work, the team will highlight how the Chamber has for over a century shaped business in Alachua County and beyond.

The Annual Meeting will feature clear reporting on organizational progress, live polling that allows members to directly shape future priorities in real time, and a forward-looking discussion of the Chamber’s role in strengthening the regional economy. Members will
hear directly from Chamber leadership about the organization’s stabilized operations, strategic reset, and the leadership qualities being sought in the Chamber’s next CEO.

The program will also honor several award recipients including: The Rotary Ethics in Business Award, The Diplomat of the Year, The Chairman's Award and the President's Award. It will also provide a review and recap of 2025 and share the goals and expectations for 2026 and beyond. We will celebrate the outgoing Chair - Theresa Beachy and welcome our incoming chair - John Roberts
