Event Description:
The 4-H Holiday Gala to benefit the Life Ready Program. The Gala will include a prime rib and chicken dinner, drawing, and silent auction, door prizes and live music. Individual tickets are available for $50 a seat and we also wanted to make you aware of our business sponsorship opportunity available for $1,000 for a table to include 10 seats and business advertising leading up to and during the event.
The 4-H Life Ready, students voluntarily meet weekly during their lunch time to develop their skills, knowledge, and experiences so they are ready for life after high school. The program brings in speakers and provides volunteer, professional, and personal development opportunities throughout the year. 4-H Life Ready also hosts a Spring Break Day Camp, leads a Living On My Own financial simulation experience, and facilitates youth-led Community Pride Projects funded by Tractor Supply through Florida 4-H. The program is currently at Hawthorne and Newberry High School.
