Event Description:
The Cardiac & Vascular Institute together with Florida Heart & Lung Institute and North Florida Regional Medical Center is hosting a Cardiovascular Symposium on Saturday February 8th, 2020.
Our goal is to both raise awareness and educate community members and healthcare professionals on heart healthy living, scientific advancements and preventive measures in all aspects of cardiovascular care.
This year’s event for healthcare professionals will focus on current treatments, scientific advancements and preventive measures in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery care with two dedicated sessions of cardiogenic shock and structural heart. We invite the community for free talks that will focus on CPR 101, heart-healthy eating and exercise, understanding blood pressure and common heart medications.
