Event Description:
The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce encourages your attendance at the upcoming Gainesville City Commission Candidates Forum on Thursday, April 3rd at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church at 120 SE Williston Road, Gainesville, FL from 6:30pm - 8pm for the Gainesville City Commission runoff election.
The event will feature City Commission candidates Annie Orlando and Helen Warren, who will share their views on key topics for the community going into the Tuesday, April 8th runoff election for the remaining at-large seat. The event will open with a candidates meet and greet at 6:30pm, followed by a one-hour debate at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public.
The Gainesville Chamber has partnered with the Gainesville Sun and WUFT to host the candidate’s forum, moderated by editorial page editor Nathan Crabbe of the Gainesville Sun while a portion of the program will be dedicated specifically to questions from the Chamber on issues and concerns affecting the local business community.
