Event Description:
Art and science unite at the Florida Museum of Natural History Jan. 27 from 1-4 p.m. to show the biodiversity of the Gulf of Mexico and the effects of oil spills and other environmental challenges to the Gulf region. This portable, pop-up, hands-on collection invites viewers to explore a series of customized steamer trunks containing specimens, paintings, photos and sculptures curated, collected or created by artist Sean Miller and other participating artists and scientists.
