The Florida Museum of Natural History is hosting a demonstration day by the “VR for the Social Good” class to promote the research and development of virtual and augmented reality applications on May 1 from 10 a.m. to noon. The class will share more than 15 demonstrations of social good projects and immersive stories focused on Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The course aims to provide students with tools and resources to pursue a future with this technology. Previous projects have allowed visitors to see through the eyes of a baby sea turtle and tour the University of Florida campus.
