Free Movie Tickets for LifeSouth Blood Donors

Start your tax-free weekend by sitting back, relaxing, and saving a life. Blood donors with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers will receive a free movie ticket from August 3rd through August 5th with a donation on a LifeSouth bloodmobile or center location in Gainesville. Donor centers are located at 4039 Newberry Road and 1221 Northwest 13th Street.
Blood donors are needed this time of year as donations drop due to travel and weather conditions. However, the demand for blood remains high. LifeSouth supplies one hundred percent of the blood products to all of the hospitals in Gainesville and surrounding communities. Local hospitals count on blood donors and LifeSouth for the needs of their patients.
Donors must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and show photo I.D. Blood Donors who are 16 years old must have written parental permission. For additional information about donation call LifeSouth toll-free at 888-795-2707 or visit www.lifesouth.org.
