The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its third official Small Business Growth Task Force meeting on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. The meeting will take place at the Commerce Building, 300 E University Avenue, Suite 110 (formerly known as the Design Center and down the hall from the Gainesville Chamber offices), Gainesville, FL 32601 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.  It will focus on stimulating economic development through land-use policy, land development code reform, Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) plan review process reform, and implementation of the Chamber Small Business Growth Report recommendations released in June 2013.

An open forum will also take place where attendees can ask City of Gainesville Mayor Ed Braddy and Gainesville Chamber President & CEO Tim Giuliani questions about improving the business climate in Gainesville.

The event is free to attend and open to the public.
