Bread of the Mighty Food Bank proudly serves Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union counties — communities that are rich in resilience but face significant barriers to food access. In our region, 1 in 7 people are food insecure, and 1 in 5 children may not know where their next meal is coming from.

From rural farmland to city neighborhoods, hunger looks different in every corner of our service area - but the need is real and urgent. They work with a network of local partners to distribute millions of pounds of food each year, reaching seniors, veterans, working families, and children who rely on is for nourishment, hope, and stability.
