Our 1st President/CEO of 2025 is Eric Godet.

Eric Godet is the President & CEO of the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce. Eric accepted this position in December of 2018. Under his leadership, the Chamber team continues its mission to facilitate economic opportunity, business success and community progress for the Greater Gainesville region. Prior to accepting the Chamber position, he worked as Vice President of Organizational Advancement for Haven Hospice. Eric was also a founding member of RTI surgical, working as a change agent within the operations, marketing, distribution, donor services and communications departments. Eric has a long history of leadership within the Chamber, having served as interim President/CEO; chair of the Public Policy Committee; chair of the Council of Economic Outreach; and chair of the Board of Directors.
