Join the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals for their quarterly Thrive event, Pancakes & Presidents! This is your opportunity to hear from a local President/CEO as they share their story and open conversation to topics that will be beneficial in your growth as a professional in our community. This is a casual event that encourages group participation and conversation.
This quarter's President/CEO will be Duke Pinner, owner of Pinner's Fine Shoes. Pinner's is an upscale shoe store that has survived a lot in its 56 years, since Duke's father, Bill, opened Bill Pinner Footwear around 1968. Duke has been in charge most of that time, starting in 1975, two years after he graduated from the University of Florida, before buying out his father in 1982.
