Event Description:
Calling all IT employers and HR in the IT field!
Network with local HR professionals, IT employers, FloridaWorks workforce representatives and training providers in a social, casual setting at GIT's (Gainesville Information Technology) Employer Luncheon on Wednesday, June 5th at Noon at Harry’s!
Learn of IT talent who may be a fit for your company and available community resources for your needs. GIT's Employer Luncheons create a collaboratory sphere, provide a source of networking and create a system of support surrounding Information Technology in Gainesville, Florida.
This month, come prepared to discuss the following table topics:
- What IT positions are you hiring for? What are the essential skills and qualifications?
- Talk about your company culture.
- What IT competencies were reflected on the resumes of candidates who recently applied to your company’s IT job openings?
- If there was one ask that the person sitting across from you could assist you with, what would it be (re: IT hiring)?
Help build our applicant pool and keep our talent in Gainesville! Send resumes of IT applicants who were not a company or cultural fit to Shareen@GainesvilleChamber.com.
Employers will have an opportunity to make “popcorn” announcements towards the close of the event. Come prepared to briefly share good news with your industry colleague!
Register today! For more information or questions, contact Shareen Baptiste at 352.334.7100 or Shareen@GainesvilleChamber.com.
