Event Description:
Join business and community leaders from the Heart of Florida (Alachua and Marion Counties) March 17 and travel to Tallahassee to meet with legislators and advocate for our region. Participants will hear from our region's political leaders on important issues impacting Florida and the Gainesville area, and they will have the opportunity to develop relationships with our regional delegation and staff. Join the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce March 17 for the Alachua County Delegation Breakfast at the Governors Club - 202 South Adams St., Tallahassee, FL 32301- from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed by a legislative breifing from the Florida Chamber of Commerce from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. After appointments with elected officials join us for the Heart of Florida Days Reception at Aloft Tallahassee - 200 N Monroe, Tallahassee, FL 32301 - from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, and to register, contact Kimberly Hall at 334.7100 or kimh@gainesvillechamber.com.
