One of the goals of Innovation Gainesville (iG) is that everyone in the Gainesville business community has the opportunity to “Be a Mentor” and “Have a Mentor.” 

Progress toward this goal advances Thursday, Dec. 16, as two mentoring experts lead the discussion “Mentoring – How To Be One/How To Have One.”   The panel discussion will begin at 4 p.m. at the Santa Fe College Center for Innovation and Economic Development on the corner of 6^the St. and University Ave.  All are welcome to attend and can register at www.gainesvillechamber.com or call 352.334.7100.

Marilyn Tubb, associate vice president for college relations at Santa Fe College and one of the iG volunteer leaders, will facilitate the discussion. Sheery Riddle, mentoring training specialist at Shands HealthCare, and Eric Simmone, mentoring training expert for the University of Florida IFAS extension programs, will lead the discussion.
