Date: June 13, 2019
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM EDT
Santa Fe College
Event Description:

How do you take an idea to a final product? Do you know the phases every product goes through to bring it to fruition? Join us as the team from RDM uses a case study to walk us through the phases of development. Learn about business planning, computer aided design (2D and 3D), 3D printing and rapid prototyping, and injection molding.

RDM aims to pioneer new approaches to product development and manufacturing for both inventors and companies. Through efficient design, cost-effective manufacturing, and innovative machine design, the modern-day business can be optimized like never before. With experience across engineering and manufacturing disciplines, unique solutions are created at the crossroads of Research, Development, and Manufacturing.

RDM was founded in Sarasota, Florida in 2015 by Jacob Barrineau, Elezar Tonev, CJ Cooper, and Domenic Aluise. The company, whose name stands for Research, Development, and Manufacturing, began in a garage with two custom computers and a 3D printer. We are a service based company that will provide the research, design and development for your project. We provide cost effective solutions for companies and individuals that do not have the time, knowledge or resources to do it themselves.

Santa Fe College's IPDC Networking & Learning Events offer local inventors, entrepreneurs and innovators the opportunity to connect with IPDC Partners, organizations and private sector companies who provide mentoring and learning opportunities for start-ups and their founders.
