Join us at the Key Decision Makers Luncheon Thursday, Sept. 9 for a discussion about the green business movement, its benefits and why businesses are making the shift to sustainability. The discussion will be led by Kirsten Hausman, director of client relations and communications for the Green Plus Institute for Sustainable Development, a North Carolina-based nonprofit focused on advancing triple bottom line sustainability among smaller enterprises.

 

Some of the questions Hausman will discuss include:
What is sustainability?
Why focus on the triple bottom line?
Why should businesses – large and small – care about sustainability?
The business case for sustainability - Two case studies
What resources are available?  The Institute for Sustainable Development

 

Key Decision Makers is a roundtable event for CEOs, General Managers and other decision makers to discuss topics affecting businesses. This members-only luncheon is from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Sweetwater Branch Inn. Registration is $25. Please RSVP by noon, Tuesday, Sept. 7. Participation is limited to the first 60 Key Decision Makers registered. Please note that this invitation is non-transferable and limited to one representative per company.
