Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM EDT
Event Description:

LifeSouth invites the community to stop by, save lives and be a part of a one-of-a-kind event when University of Florida Performing Arts (UFPA) does a performance of The Maltese Falcon on Saturday, March 19 as part of their Driveway Theatre Project. This 1930s tale of intrigue will be performed as a live radio play at LifeSouth’s Gainesville donor center located at 4039 Newberry Road from noon until 1 p.m. Food and beverages will be served.
Through the new Driveway Theatre Project, UFPA teams up with members of the Gainesville community to bring together friends and neighbors around a performance in driveways, backyards, community centers and businesses. The host provides the space and invites the people and UFPA’s talented actors, dancers and musicians provide the magic of performance.
All donors will receive a recognition t-shirt and a complimentary cholesterol screening. Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required.
