Event Description:

AI is changing the workplace, but not in the way most headlines suggest.

This session breaks down what AI actually does, in simple, easy to understand terms, and explains how it fits into business decision-making, and what it means for workers and leaders.

We’ll explore the real impact of AI on expertise, trust, and collaboration—without the fearmongering. Whether you're making strategic decisions or just figuring out how to work alongside AI, this talk will give you a clear, practical perspective on what’s next.

Three Key Takeaways:

  1. AI doesn’t want to replace you—but it might
AI isn’t here to take over every job, but those who integrate it effectively in their business will have a competitive edge. Success will come from understanding how to work with AI, not against it.
  2. The Nature of Expertise is Changing
AI shifts how we define and apply expertise. Business Owners and Decision-makers must learn when to trust AI’s outputs, when to override them, and how to adapt as technology reshapes traditional roles.
  3. Trust and Adaptation Matter More Than Ever
AI is most effective when combined with human judgment. Understanding how to build trust in AI systems—and knowing their limitations—will be key to making better business decisions in an AI-driven workplace.
