The Alachua County Humane Society is an independant, private not-for-profit animal rescue organization.  As the lead agency for the Maddie's Pet Rescue Coalition Project in Alachua County, they have helped reduce the euthanasia rate more than 7,000 in 2000 to less than 3,000 in 2010. Join us for a Ribbon Cutting with fun activities, giveaways and full tours of its new facility. A demonstration by the ASO Canine Unit will take place and there will be reduced adoption fees on this day! Ribbon will be cut promptly at 11 a.m.
