Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS), Mid-Florida Division, will be celebrating the re-grand opening of the Family Treasures Thrift Shop Saturday, March 5 from 1 - 4 p.m. Please join the festivities including 50 percent off your purchase, door prizes and a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. Bring your children along to enjoy a book reading at 1 p.m. and arts and crafts the rest of the day.

The store carries children and adult clothing, furniture, jewelry, electronics, books and so much more. Family Treasures serves the dual purpose of raising money and providing items for those in CHS programs. Often when children are removed from their homes and placed in foster care, they bring only the clothes on their backs. All of the clients in our program are able to shop at the thrift shop for free. Our primary goal is to raise the success rate of the families put into our program, especially during this rough economic time.
