KB Kakes is a custom cake studio specializing in creating cakes with you in mind. KB Kakes has been in business in Gainesville Florida since 2002. Kathy has been creating works of art in the form of cake all her life! KB's Kake Kreations was born once people saw the cake Kathy created for her youngest daughter Kristin's wedding and starting asking Kathy to create their wedding cakes. 10 years later KB's Kake Kreations has grown by leaps and bounds. Last year they officially changed their name from KB's Kake Kreations to KB Kakes. KB Kakes has sponsored many different charity events such as Little Bits of Honey benefiting SIDS, The Urban Meyer Scramble benefiting many local children's charities, Putting on The Ritz, Let's Eat Cake benefiting St. Jude's Children Hospital, and most recently Taste of Home. KB Kakes has been featured in publications such as The Knot Weddings Florida, Weddings Illustrated, Home Magazine, and Gainesville Magazine. She also created a one of a kind cake for a very special person on the Extreme Makeover Production Team when they were here in Gainesville. Their new location will sell Gourmet Kake Truffles, coffee, and other sweet treats daily, as well as having a consultation room to meet and discuss larger cake orders, such as for weddings, birthdays, and other special events.
