As Gainesville's community hospital, North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC) has continued it's incredible growth and is poised to open it's new $62 Million 4-story patient tower. With the opening of the 150,000-square foot facility, NFRMC grows to a 445-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving 14 counties and offering comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery and treatments, women's health and wound therapy, among other services. The new tower adds a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as advanced patient care areas devoted exclusively to cardiovascular and neuroscience patients.
