Name: Tree Fest 2016
Date: April 23, 2016
Time: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
We’d like you to help us plant some trees.

Solar Impact and Swamp Head are teaming up again for the 2nd Annual Tree Fest, hosted at Swamp Head Brewery. Tree Fest is a unique event with a simple purpose: raise money to plant trees in Alachua County.

All profits will be used to plant one-year-old long leaf pines on conservation land at the Little Orange Creek Preserve in Hawthorne, Florida.  Five trees will be planted for every beer purchased at Tree Fest.  One tree will be planted for all other food and drink purchases.  All profits from sponsors will be used for tree plantings. If you would like to sponsor, please visit www.treefestfl.com.

In 2015, our inaugural Tree Fest raised enough money to plant 20,543 trees! This year we want to plant at least 50,000.  Have some fun, drink some beer, and plant trees.

From 1 - 5pm there will be kid friendly activities as well as food vendors.  From 5 - 11pm, live music, food vendors, and more beer can be enjoyed.  See you there!
