Trivia Night with the Sheriff of Nottingham
Name:
Trivia Night with the Sheriff of Nottingham
Date:
January 24, 2018
Time:
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EST
Website:
http://www.blackadderbrewing.com
Event Description:
Nottingham's most notorious residents are en route to Hoggetowne for this year's faire, and will stop in at their favorite pub Blackadder Brewing Company for three nights!
Wednesday night trivia will be taken over by the Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John, and their treasonous but well-dressed and well-armed entourage. Enter each night to win two tickets to the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire
These events are free, but Thieves Guilde Productions, Inc. will be accepting much-needed donations. Those who donate $5 or more will receive a wristband that entitles the wearer to $1 off pints, $2 off flights, and entry into that evening's raffle for TWO tickets to the 2018 Hoggetowne Medieval Faire - And if you don't win the tickets that night, you get a second chance! All raffle entries will go back into the hat for a second drawing that will take place at the end of the week.
Thieves Guilde Productions, Inc. is a non-profit all-volunteer acting troupe that performs choreographed combat and brings period characters to life, most famously at the Living Chessboard at Gainesville's Hoggetowne Medieval Faire. Members spend hundreds of hours in training and rehearsal in preparation for this and other performances. Most of their budget is eaten up by unexciting stuff like storage fees and insurance; they could use a little help (a lot, actually) in topping off their coffers to upgrade equipment, further their training, and spruce up faire props.
The fun continues:
Return on Thursday January 25th for food provided by Conch Catering plus traditional Irish and Scottish music with Jig To A Milestone! Things may get interesting when the Sheriff and Prince John realize Robin Hood and his band of rogues are there, too!
