Event Description:
You're invited to the first public gallery exhibit opening since the COVID-19 shutdown. Presented by the Alachua County Community Remembrance Project and the Gainesville Fine Arts Association, this opening reception will feature music, food trucks, and art by local artists. Artist K Williams and Commissioner Charles "Chuck" Chestnut, IV will also be speaking. 

Black artists have been historically and continue to be disproportionately represented. Our intention is to make space for Black artists and their voices through this exhibition. Our goal is to make and strengthen communal connections and to give recognition and exposure to more Black artists. Our vision is to shape new futures.
