The City of Gainesville will for the first time celebrate Welcoming Week - a series of events organized by all Welcoming Cities and Counties around the country.
To highlight this monumental event, Mayor Poe will officially proclaim September 16 - 25 Welcoming Week in Gainesville, FL. The proclamation will be followed by remarks from County Commissioner Robert Hutchinson and Mr. Daniel Valdez from Welcoming America and a number of local organizations will be tabling at the event as well.
