Marketing Assistant

Spherion Gainesville, FL has local clients seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the comprehensive marketing strategy for key offices and drive marketing and communications for their Career and Integrated Partnership Portfolio. 

Position Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Gainesville, FL
Schedule: FT, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary: $24/hr

Responsibilities
  • Content & Communications: Create and implement promotional communications (print/digital). Work with creative teams and vendors to produce collateral materials.
  • Digital Presence: Manage and update office websites, ensuring quality, accuracy, and brand alignment. Assist with maintaining and executing social media campaigns.
  • Strategy Support: Gather, organize, and report market-related information for portfolio-wide plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with stakeholders via electronic and printed media (web, social, newsletters, reports).
  • Brand & Events: Ensure consistent brand execution across all digital channels (website, email, social). Aid in supporting marketing and brand-related events.
  • Project Focused: supporting upcoming semester events and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Tech Proficiency: Strong background in graphic design in Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, Canva, Project Management tools, WordPress, Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with photography and social media is a plus.
Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, comfortable working with various communication platforms, and a keen eye for brand consistency.
