Your Role:

Administers and enhances on-premises and cloud infrastructure by resolving more complex technical issues, executing implementation efforts, and improving system performance, reliability, and security. Applies advanced technical knowledge to maintain day-to-day operations, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and support a secure and stable environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Monitors and administers infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and cloud environments, to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Performs advanced maintenance, patching, upgrades, and system administration across infrastructure platforms.
• Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex to complex infrastructure issues, serving as an escalation point and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Implements and maintains server, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud-based solutions in alignment with established standards.
• Plays a key role in executing infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
• Develops and maintains infrastructure documentation, procedures, and configuration standards to support consistency and efficiency.
• Supports security, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes to protect systems and data.
• Identifies and implements improvements to enhance system performance and operational efficiency, including automation opportunities.
• Collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and technical partners to complete infrastructure work and resolve issues while providing guidance to less experienced team members.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support for critical infrastructure, responding to alerts, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolution as needed.

The schedule for this position is:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional on-call rotation) 

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology OR A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions may be substituted.
• Industry-recognized certifications (Azure Administrator AZ-104, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator AZ-800/801, RHCSA, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA) preferred.

Experience:

• 2 - 4 years of similar or related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Infrastructure or Systems Administration experience.
• Production Systems ownership experience.

Salary is based on experience; All experience must be clearly demonstrated on the application and must be verifiable.

• IT Infrastructure Engineer 1 - Starting at $75,300
• IT Infrastructure Engineer 2 - Starting at $91,000
